Workshop - Advanced features of mechanical ventilators designed for personalized lung protective ventilation: clinical benefits and limitations

The workshop is full, but you can still sign up for the waiting list!

Description

The workshop is designed as a direct clinical continuation of the preceding plenary session on Respiratory Insufficiency, this hands-on workshop offers a seamless learning curve for clinicians looking to bridge theoretical knowledge with bedside practice. Moving from the broad concepts of respiratory failure discussed in the main hall, this limited-capacity session shifts the focus to precise, personalized mechanical ventilation strategies.

Participants will engage with international experts through interactive tracking and live demonstrations of advanced features. The session covers practical application and limitations of high-tier monitoring tools—including Work of Breathing (WOB), the P-V Tool, and Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT)—as well as advanced closed-loop ventilation modes like ASV and IntelliVent-ASV. The workshop will conclude with an open panel discussion to address real-world clinical troubleshooting.

Important: the first 20 participants can attend the workshop!
